SBC Events has agreed a multi-year media partnership with CasinoNieuws.nl, making the Dutch gambling news platform the exclusive Dutch gambling media partner of SBC Summit Europe. The inaugural edition of the event is scheduled for RAI Amsterdam on 19-21 April 2027.

CasinoNieuws was founded in 2020 and has covered the Dutch market since regulated online gambling was introduced in October 2021. Under the agreement it will co-curate a dedicated Dutch market track together with SBC's Conference Team, helping shape the themes, sessions and speaker line-up. The track is set to address taxation, advertising restrictions, player protection, channelisation and enforcement, placing them in a wider European context.

SBC CEO and Founder Rasmus Sojmark said the aim is to establish the summit as the annual meeting place for Europe's regulated gaming industry. He described the Netherlands as one of Europe's most interesting regulated markets, with lessons on taxation, player protection, channelisation and the commercial sustainability of licensed operators. Frank Op de Woerd, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of CasinoNieuws, said the arrival of an event of this scale in Amsterdam is a significant opportunity for the Dutch industry to discuss a market that has changed enormously in a short time.

The deal follows SBC's earlier partnership with VNLOK, the trade association for Dutch licensed online gambling operators. While CasinoNieuws contributes editorial reach and market insight, the VNLOK arrangement is aimed at strengthening the participation and representation of licensed Dutch operators.

Regulation will be a central theme. SBC recently unveiled a three-year strategic partnership with the International Association of Gaming Regulators and the International Masters of Gaming Law. The programme opens on 19 April with the invitation-only SBC Leaders Regulatory Forum for senior regulators, policymakers and industry leaders, and includes a dedicated European Regulation track.

Organisers expect more than 8,000 attendees, including over 3,000 licensed operator representatives, along with 250 exhibitors and sponsors and 250 speakers. The exhibition runs across two days with four conference stages and specialist forums on subjects including lottery innovation, player protection, sports integrity, payments and blockchain. Ticket sales are due to open soon.
