Kitsune Studios releases horror-themed slot Gamdolls with Stackways mechanic and 10,000x max win
Kitsune Studios has launched Gamdolls, a Halloween-themed slot set in a haunted house full of dolls. It features Stackways symbols, a 96.3% RTP, high volatility and a maximum win of 10,000x the stake.
Kitsune Studios has released Gamdolls, a new slot with a dark horror theme built around forgotten toys and a locked house. The studio says it chose to lean into the unsettling side of Halloween, using imagery of haunted dolls rather than a milder take on the season.
The game runs on a grid of five reels and four rows with 100,000 paylines. Its return to player is 96.3% and volatility is rated high. Bets range from 0.10 to 50, and the maximum win is capped at 10,000x the stake.
The central mechanic is the Stackways symbol, which can fill a reel with up to 10 stacked symbols of the same type. There are two versions: Normal Stackways symbols carry values of up to 4, while Revealing Stackways symbols can reach values of up to 10. The symbol a Stackways feature delivers is the one that would form the longest winning combination among those on the reels. Where several symbols tie, one is picked at random. A separate Stackways Booster symbol lets reels grow to a maximum of 20 Stackways, although the booster can add no more than 10 per reel.
The main bonus is the Are They Watching Us? Spins round, triggered by landing three Scatter symbols. It awards 10 free spins and resets the minimum Stackways value to the base guaranteed amount. During the round, two symbols are marked with golden borders as Special symbols, which stack and pay when they appear on three or more reels at once.
A stronger variant, They're Alive Spins, starts when four FS Scatter symbols land. It also gives 10 spins, but the special symbol expansions do not reset the minimum Stackways value. Additional FS symbols landing during the bonus can either grant extra spins or upgrade the Are They Watching Us? feature into They're Alive Spins.
