The Massachusetts Lottery has widened the range of games on its Mass Lottery Online offering by adding virtual sports content from Inspired Entertainment. The titles went live through Fusion, the integration platform operated by Aristocrat Interactive.

The launch includes virtual horse racing and a product called Post Time Payout. According to the announcement, Inspired is the first third-party content provider to go live on the Massachusetts Lottery's iLottery platform.

Inspired Entertainment CEO Brooks Pierce said the company was delighted to work with the Massachusetts Lottery and Aristocrat Interactive. He described the first-provider status as an important milestone for Inspired, one that reflects the strength of its virtual sports portfolio and the growing opportunity for such products in the North American lottery market.

Massachusetts State Lottery executive director Mark William Bracken also welcomed the deal. He said Inspired has a strong track record in virtual sports and that its content is a valuable addition as the lottery continues to broaden the digital experiences available on the platform. He added that the agreement gives players a new way to engage with the lottery and its products.

The move comes from one of the strongest lottery markets in the United States. Per capita lottery spending in Massachusetts reached $904 in 2024, the highest figure in the country. In 2023 the figure was higher still, at $915.

By bringing in additional products from outside providers, the lottery is looking to reinforce its core offering and open new channels for reaching customers in the state.
